How to Place an Order

Making a purchase with Bedale Bears couldn’t be simpler.Browse the website at your leisure and add any items you would like to buy to your shopping basket.You will be asked to complete your details with an email address and password, a telephone contact number is always very useful.Please ensure that any details you supply are correct and complete.

Payment

Secure payment via the website is made using Paypal – you do not need to have a Paypal account to use this method.All prices are quoted in GBP (£’s) sterling and we are only able to accept orders from the United Kingdom, all prices include VAT.

If you prefer to speak to a ‘real person’ to make your payment you can do this directly over the telephone by calling the shop 01677 425635 or 07745 849649.

If you would like to check stock availability before making a purchase please call the shop to do this. 

Making a Contract with us

When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy the goods.  We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.

Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will e-mail you again to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us.   At this point you will also be notified that your order is about to be despatched. 

In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this.  In this instance you will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order and there will be no contract between us.

Delivery

Delivery is free to addresses in the UK (mainland only) – If you live in the Scottish Highlands, Islands or Ireland etc, you will need to pay a delivery charge.  Please contact the shop either by telephone or email before placing your order and a delivery charge will be acquired for you as soon as possible and you will be notified by either email or telephone. 

Free delivery to UK mainland addresses, is usually by 1st class recorded delivery, a signature will be required (delivery usually takes 1 to 2 days).  If the parcel is too large for 1st class mail then standard parcel post will be used (delivery could take 3 to 5days in this instance). 

If you require a faster guaranteed delivery service then you could choose to pay for this, please contact the shop and a quote will be acquired for you.

Cancellation and Returns

You may cancel your contract at any time up to 7 days after the day of delivery.  To do this please e-mail us, telephone or write to us.  If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense.  The goods must be returned unused, and infull (including any collectors bag or box) with all their labels intact and in their original packaging.  You are responsible for the goods until they reach the store so please ensure they are suitably insured when returning them, and adequately packaged to protect against damage.

If you fail to return the goods, we will arrange collection of them and we will charge you for the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.

Once the goods have been satisfactorily returned to us a refund will be made to you for the goods, less any costs incurred by ourselves.  If you took advantage of our free postal offer the costs incurred by ourselves will be deducted from the refund.  If you are exchanging the goods for another item you will be responsible for paying the postage for the replacement goods – it is not profitable for us to pay the postage twice on one transaction.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights.

Faulty Goods

In the unlikely event that there is a problem with the goods (all items are thoroughly checked before leaving the shop) please contact us.  We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

If the goods have been damaged in transit please advise us of this asap so that a claim can be made against the Post Office.

Privacy Policy

Bedale Bears will never disclose any of your personal information to a third party.  All information is held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and will only be used to fulfil your order and to keep you up-to-date with our services and special offers.

Communication

By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions you accept to receive occasional email and postal communication from us regarding ourproducts and services.  If at any time you no longer wish to receive information please email us using our contacts page.

Changes to these Terms

These terms apply to your order.  We may change our terms and conditions at anytime, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
